WHO SAID ORDINARY FIJIANS DON’T HAVE MONEY?

Yesterday members of the Christian Mission Fellowship International raised $1.09 million in a “soli” (voluntary contribution – read full story on page 10). How did they do it?

“Faith,”said someone.

If faith is that strong, then we can use it to solve all our money worries. One word best describes yesterday’s faith-promoting feat – incredible.

HUMAN RIGHTS

It would be interesting to see the response from SODELPA and the Fiji Labour Party on Fiji becoming a member of the United Nations Human Rights Council. In the past, they have been critical of Fiji’s human rights record.
