Fiji and Israel

That Fiji, with the United States of Amer­ica, are the only two nations supporting Is­rael's right to defend itself, is an inspiration to the Fijian people.

The Human Rights NGO in Fiji thinks oth­erwise.

They would be in support of the UN organi­sation responsible for Palestinian Aid in Gaza and the West Bank.

Whose workers have been seen in real time video footage, participating in the attack on Israelis on October 7, 2023?

And this, the indiscriminate killing of more than a thousand Israeli men, women, children and babies who were beheaded, raped, tortured and killed on a single day!

Not to mention the more than a hundred Israelis kidnapped and still held in captivity in Gaza.

As the Palestinian Hamas continue to hold these kidnapped Israelis, they boast to the world that the deaths of their men, women and children in Israeli's retaliatory attack are a necessary sacrifice for their cause.

And yet, today they plead to the world to support them?

Palestinian Hamas have the power to stop the deaths and the war in Gaza.

Release the more than 100 kidnapped Israe­lis held by them. That is all.

As individuals, the carnage of the war in Gaza might be troubling to viewers because the world media is out there, providing real time footage.

The Palestinian Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, has never been shown to the world in its entirety.

This is what Fiji's human rights organisa­tion should ask to see before they condemn our government's stance.

And as antisemitism rises in the world, I support Fiji's stance and stand with them and the US of A in support of Israel!
