The International Court of Justice has rejected Gaza ceasefire sought by South Africa.
In their ruling, the ICJ recognized that Hamas launched the war on October 7 and called for the immediate and unconditional release of all Israeli hostages.
It also recognized the right of Israel to defend itself.
