'Letters to the Editor': Thank You

Here’s extending a public vote of sincere thanks to the Lord our God for prayers answered.

Respectfully, we get to now enjoy the peaceful “sounds of silence” in our Martintar neighbourhood, after 1:00am each weekend morning.

We pray that the reduction in nightclub hours brings to many homes, that extra dollar needed to buy daily bread.

We pray youths get to share some time at home with families. We hope, in some small measure, poverty alleviation is addressed by not spending every dollar at our bars.

I pray the reduced nightclub hours, will in time, yield fruitful results for a better, peaceful and law-abiding community, here in Martintar, Nadi.

Silence, is truly golden. Let us treasure this gift.

My sincere thanks to all who supported this worthy cause. It time, necessary adjustments will be acceptable, for a better peaceful environment.
