Analysis:

Our new crop of Fiji Airways Flying Fijians will take on the Barbarians at Twickenham, London tomorrow.

They are our future and they need to breathe life back into our game after we fell short of our intended target at the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

And they don’t have to look far and wide for inspiration but to their fellow countrymen playing abroad.

They also didn’t have a perfect season but continue to hit the spotlight for being humble and performance-driven for their respective teams

Former All Blacks winger Waisake Naholo and Wallabies teammates Samu Kerevi and Marika Koroibete are providing good and comforting tidings as the season draws to a close.

Veiseisei, Vuda, Ba native Kerevi was named Super Rugby player of 2019.

He also became the first Fijian to the vice-captain of the Wallabies at the RWC.

Both Koroibete and Kerevi scored in the 39-21 win over Fiji and remain humbled and composed.

This should be a lesson to our young Flying Fijians as they can reach for the stars starting at Twickenham tomorrow.

But they need to learn from their countrymen who have played with the best and continue to wow the world of rugby with their performance.
