Letters: Today’s Parliamentarians

When I look back at the caliber of the parliamentarians of yesteryears - before the military coup of 1987 and the ensuing coup culture and what it has entailed - I can’t help but think today’s Parliament has been taken over by mediocrity and hypocrisy.

Fiji’s Parliament needs rescuing by the people of Fiji.

More decent men and women dedicated to serving the people - not the self-serving variety - need to occupy that august house.
