Matuku Man Perishes In Early Morning Fire

Taniela Coriakula of  Levukaidaku village in Matuku died in a house fire early yesterday morning.

Village headman Iliesa Nadavo said Mr Coriakula was a healthy individual.

He said after their meeting on Monday evening about an upcoming Government visit, he saw Mr Coriakula in their house with the solar light on.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed that a 52-year-old man was trapped inside the corrugated iron house.
