The Fiji Meteorological Service has placed the entire Fiji Group under a heavy rain alert, warning of possible flash flooding and hazardous conditions over the coming days.
Moist winds from the north to northeast are currently affecting the country, while a trough of low pressure with cloud and rain is expected to move in from the west later tomorrow.
These conditions are forecast to bring heavy and persistent rainfall, particularly in low-lying and flood-prone areas.
