Strong winds, rough seas forecast across Fiji
The National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi issued the latest weather bulletin at 10.45am today.

People in several parts of Fiji can expect strong winds of up to 45 kilometres per hour, rough seas and showers as a strong wind warning remains in force.
The warning covers coastal areas of Sigatoka, Rakiraki and Udu Point, as well as Yasawa, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands.
It also covers the Lau and Lomaiviti groups, southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Cikobia, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands.

It said strong winds blowing from the east and southeast would continue to affect areas under the warning.
Other parts of Fiji can expect moderate to fresh winds, which may become stronger at times.
Rough seas are also expected.
A weather system that has been bringing clouds and showers to parts of Fiji is slowly moving east and away from the country.
However, some areas are expected to continue experiencing cloudy conditions and showers until later today.
These include the Sigatoka-Coral Coast, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra, southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Cikobia, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands.
Showers are also expected over the Lau and Lomaiviti groups, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands.
Other parts of Fiji can expect partly cloudy conditions with brief showers.
Cool conditions are expected tonight.
The forecast is valid until midnight tomorrow.
