“Our tickets are really running out,” Colati told SUNsports yesterday.
“They have been sold at a rate that we are quite happy about and our grandstand tickets have all been taken up by schools.”
Colati said they would confirm on Friday if grandstand tickets would be opened to the public as they have reserved buyers.
“The only ones that are available at the moment are concrete and grass embankments,” he said. “One thing that we have done, which is new, is that if you buy online, there is some kind of special rate. If you decide to come and buy off at the grandstand, then whoever is going to be buying will have to pay what our film cost, which is $15 for concrete and $10 for grass per day,” he said.
Colati added there would be tight security services provided for the three days.
“All I can say is that according to all the people that are analysing these games, I think we are all agreeing that this Coke Games is going to be one of the toughest games that we will witness,” he said.
