Future Farms Limited product Rooster Chicken and Ashabhai’s Scoops premium ice cream are the new sponsors of the Battle of the Giants (BOG) tournament.
The three-year sponsorship agreement was signed yesterday at the Fiji Football Association headquarters in Vatuwaqa, Suva.
A sponsorship cheque of $305k for the next three years was also presented to Fiji FA.
The BOG pool games will take place from August 11-13 while the semifinals and finals are on August 19 and 20 respectively at Prince Charles Park, Nadi.
Ashabhai & Co executive director Neil Patel acknowledged Fiji FA for their continuous grassroots development.
“BOG has long been a symbol of sporting excellence bringing together the best teams across the nation to compete.
“We chose to align our names with BOG not only because it’s a prestigious tournament but it embodies the values we hold dear, passion, determination to pursue greatness.

Fiji FA chief executive officer Mohammed Yusuf said the ground would be prepared a week prior to the BOG to prepare the pitch for the three days of football.
Meanwhile the BOG winner will walk away with $17k, $5k for runner-up and the losing semifinalists will have $2500 each.
Labasa is the defending BOG champions after they defeated Rewa, 2-1, in last year’s final at Churchill Park, Lautoka.
