Ono-i-Lau Sixers Crowned Suva Women’s Cricket League Champions

Ono-i-Lau Sixers dethroned defending champions Nausori Majidez to claim the 2025/26 Suva Women’s Cricket League title, with skipper Ilisapeci Waqavakatoga starring in the final at Albert Park.

Ono-i-Lau Sixers dethroned Nausori Majidez to be crowned the new champion of the 2025/26 Suva

Women’s Cricket League at Albert Park, last Saturday.

Sixers captain IIisapeci Waqavakatoga led from the front with 53 runs and taking 3 wickets in the

process.

Cilia Lewatu supported Waqavakatoga well with 36 runs with 5 wickets to her name. Akosita Levaci and Jasvil Rokoro led the charge for Ma-jidez with 21 and 17 runs respectively but was not enough to reel in the runs stacked by Sixers in the first innings.

Cricket Fiji chairman Ratu Meli Saubulinayau thanked all teams for their effort, commitment and dedication throughout the season.
