The Extra Bula FC take on OFC Pro-League favorites Auckland FC tonight at the North Harbour Stadium in New Zealand.

Auckland City is looking for their third win in the first round after beating South Is-land United 3-0 and Vanuatu United 3-1.

The Roy Krishna captained Bula FC side managed a 2-2 draw against Vanuatu FC while their second match against South Island United was cancelled due to bad weather.

Speaking to OFC Media, Bula FC coach Stephane Auvray is expecting a competition contest.

“We will have some good players with fresh legs, and hopefully the result will be ours,” he said.

Casserly indicated that they are excited about playing against the Fijian players.

We're really looking for-ward to the game. Were two from two, so there is a good feeling within the group and the players are excited to be running out on Friday night, he said.

Everyone wants to play, which is a great position to be in as a coach, but we also need to respect the situation.

Bula FC will be well rested after their midweek match was called off. They looked dangerous against Vanuatu.

The match kicks-off at 6pm.

Earlier today at 2pm, Vanuatu United will be out to register their first win as they take on South Island United.

Vanuatu United forward Jordy Tasip, who scored in his side “1 defeat to Auck-land FC on Tuesday night, will come up against several familiar faces. Tasip previously played with a num-ber of South Island United players during his time at Christchurch United in the New Zealand National League last season.

“They’re good friends to me, so tomorrow is a special game for me,” said Tasip, who will reunite with Steven van Dijk, Ollie van Rijssel, Riley Grover, Charlie Beale and the injured Josh Rogerson.

South Island United vice-captain Ollie van Rijssel was equally pleased to see his for-mer teammate.

“He’s a legend, isn’t he? I think he enjoyed his time with us, apart from the cold weather maybe,” van Rijssel said with a grin.

“He’s a worker and he’ll just get stuck in.”

Vanuatu United FC head coach Lars Hopp said he is likely to rotate his squad with the team playing their third match in six days.
