Coach wants consistency

The Navua football team has now turned their focus on Ba in this weekend’s Extra Premier League clash.
This was revealed by Navua coach Roderick Singh after they came from behind to beat Lautoka 2-1 in their EPL clash at Uprising Sports Centre in Pacific Harbour, Deuba, yesterday.
“We started well but we conceded a silly goal but managed to find our way back to victory,” he told SUN sports as both teams were tied 1-1 at halftime. Singh said the win was crucial as they earned three points, which should improve their standing on the EPL points table.
“Also, the win has boosted us as we are about to face the giants of Fiji football starting with Ba next,” he added.
Singh highlighted that the match would a thriller as both teams played in the recent grand-final of the BiC Fiji FACT tournament at Subrail Park in Labasa.
Ba won 3-1 on penalty kicks after they were tied 1-1 at full-time. Singh said it is important for Na vua to be consistent with their per formance. “I’ve been telling the boys to keep believing and we’ll do Navua proud,” he added
