Extra Bula FC captain Roy Krishna has been working on what they need to do to beat South Island United FC in today’s second round of the OFC Pro League at North Harbour Stadium in New Zea-land.
During a Zoom interview yesterday, Roy said they need to pressure the opposition defence, improve on their ball retention and play an attacking game right to the last whistle.

In the opening round, a lapse of concentration in the Bula FC defence allowed Vanuatu United FC to slot in the equalizer.
Roy conceded they fell behind in managing ball possession especially in the final 20 minutes of that match.
“We need to be focused when with the ball,” he said.
Roy said they failed to pressure the Vanuatu United defence because some of their players had leg cramps, which affected their game.
During yesterday’s morning brief, Roy told the players about the importance of pressuring the defence and why attacking (opposition) players need to be blocked from clear shooting opportunities.
“We want to have a good press defense to limit opposition opportunities to score against us,” he said.
When asked by this masthead, Roy said they had seen how South Island United play and observed areas that could be exploited.
He said they have a game plan set for the encounter.
“We respect our opponents, but we have to start winning and close out games with a win,” he stressed.
Bula FC sits fourth on the points table with one point and two goals scored while South Island United is placed seventh with no points after a heavy 3-0 defeat to Auckland FC.
The match kicks-off at 3pm.
