The Ba Bowling Club is all set to host its first event of 2026, an Open Trips tournament sponsored by Lautoka Golf Club golfers, with strong interest expected to deliver a full field on Saturday at the Lautoka Bowling Club.

The Ba Bowling Club (BBC) is all geared up to host an Open Trips event generously spon­sored by Lautoka Golf Club golfers Raymond Singh, Sanjay Krishna and Reginal Ram at Lautoka Bowl­ing Club on Saturday.

Tournament organizer Krishna has confirmed that the first BBC event of 2026 will definitely be a houseful trips event, which will be the 2 Bowls 8 Ends format.

"Over $1000 cash prizes is at stake with a host of other incentives," Krishna said.

LGC Trustees chairman, Raymond Singh has confirmed that golfers do it well for golf and now lawn bowls as well.

Pitching in to support BBC host its first event of 2026, Fiji PGA presi­dent, Vikrant Chandra, Golf Fiji president Amitesh Chandra, LGC newcomer's club champion Mohd Riyaz of Top Designs alongside RSR Group of Companies chairman Ram Reddy are the real helping hands of the popular 2 Bowls event to attract our upcoming and new bowlers.

The interest is massive and indeed BBC expects a full field of teams, no two ways about that, quipped a con­fident Singh.
