Tuivuna, Delattre Win Nadi Season-Opening Golf Event

Suva pair Tomasi Tuivuna and Bruno Delattre took out the Nadi 2026 season open­ing golf event at Nadi Airport Golf Club in Wailoaloa last Saturday.

Tuivuna's team carded 57.5 points ahead of Isei Waqa and Patrick (61.75 points) as Taitusi Tuivuci and Lin (63.5 points) settled for third spot.

"What a way to kick off the sea­son," said Tuivuna.

"We all woke up to a lingering drizzle, but that didn't stop any­one, even Bruno. The golf went on, spirits stayed high and the compe­tition was fierce."

Nadi Airport Golf Club executive Ricky Locke said that the two-man Ambrose attracted 48 players.

"Suva Golf Club players made their presence felt with a clean sweep at the top three," he said.

"Despite the weather, it was a great day of golf, laughter, and good company. Thanks to everyone who turned up, and here's to an awesome season ahead".
