After a 12-year wait, Lelean Memorial School are back on the biggest stage of Fiji secondary schools rugby, booking their place in the Vodafone Deans Under-18 final.

The young men from Davuilevu will face Suva Grammar School in the final at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva next Saturday.

Lelean secured its place after defeating Nasinu Secondary School 32–7 in their semifinal.

They led 5–0 at half time before producing a strong second-half performance to pull away from Nasinu and seal the victory.

Lelean Memorial School's last appearance in the Deans U18 final was in 2014, when they defeated RKS 13–8 to win the title.

The Davuilevu powerhouse have won the Deans trophy 14 times and shared the title five times.

The current side will be determined to restore Lelean’s lost glory and write a new chapter in the school’s proud rugby history.

In the first semifinal, Suva Grammar School thrashed Ra High School 51–0 at Churchill Park in Lautoka to secure its place in the final.

The results set up a highly anticipated showdown between Lelean and Suva Grammar for the Vodafone Deans Under-18 title.
