Acting Police Commissioner Aporosa Lutunauga has confirmed that Head of Serious Organized Crime and Intelligence Department (SOCID) Senior Superintendent of Police, Fisi Nasario, has been directed to take leave.
Mr Nasario is one of the officers alleged to be involved in alleged corrupt practices relating to illegal drug trade in the country.
The investigation centers on an incident alleged to have occurred sometime in 2024.
