One dead, three missing off Vio Island Coast

A seven-year-old child is believed to have died, and three others remain missing at sea off the coast of Vio Island in Lautoka.

Police spokesperson Corporal Wame Bautolu confirmed the incident this evening, stating, “One believed to be dead, three still missing at sea.”

The body of one individual was recovered earlier today.
