The public is being urged to take immediate precautions as flash flood and heavy rain alerts remain in force for the entire Fiji group.
In a public advisory issued by the National Disaster Risk Management Office (NDRMO), Tropical Disturbance TD03F remains slow-moving and is expected to track southeast, with the potential for intensification over the next 48 hours.
While the risk of cyclone development is currently assessed as low, the Fiji Meteorological Service has advised that global weather models indicate possible strengthening of the system as it moves.
