Shore Buses Limited has suspended its Qauia Bus Service from entering Qauia Village after the Qauia Bridge became flooded following heavy rainfall.
In a public notice issued today, the company said the decision was made on safety grounds, as it is currently unsafe for buses to cross the flooded bridge.
Shore Buses Limited said it will continue to closely monitor the situation and will resume normal services once water levels recede and conditions are safe.
The company has thanked passengers and residents for their understanding and has urged the public to remain cautious during the ongoing wet weather.
