TC URMIL tracking southeast, rain and strong winds affect Fiji
While the centre of the cyclone is not expected to track directly over Fiji, associated rainbands and strong winds are already affecting parts of the country.

Tropical Cyclone URMIL was located about 520 kilometres southwest of Nadi at 6am today.
The Fiji Meteorological Service said the system was moving southeast at an increased speed of about 30km per hour.
While the centre of the cyclone is not expected to track directly over Fiji, associated rainbands and strong winds are already affecting parts of the country.

The Weather Office has urged members of the public to continue monitoring official warnings issued from Nadi and to follow advisories from the National Disaster Management Office.
Fiji Met said it would continue to monitor the system closely and issue further updates as new information becomes available.
