We gave everything: Gospel U16 manager on beating QVS

Gospel High School Under-16 team have booked their spot in the Vodafone Deans semifinals next Saturday.
This was after they beat Queen Victoria School (QVS), 13-10, in the quarterfinals at Prince Charles Park, Nadi.
Team manager Bulewa Tomanisau said it was a very close game, especially in the last few minutes.

“It was an intense match,” she said.
“The boys gave it everything. We were under pressure at the end, but we believed we could do it.”
Gospel was leading by just three points and held on until the last whistle.
“I kept checking the time,” Tomanisau said.
“It was tough, but we held on. We thank God for that.”She added that many of these players have been to the Deans semifinals before.
“This is the same Under-15 team from last year. They also made the semi-finals last year. We even beat RKS in the quarterfinals. Now they’re in Under-16, and they’ve beaten QVS.”
The semifinals will be at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka.
