On top of her studies during the COVID-19 pandemic, Salanieta Drodrolagi volunteered to be part of the medical team rolling out the vaccines against the virus.
Ms Drodrolagi was recognized for her hard work during the two years she served people around the central division, especially forgoing chances of contracting the virus and even death.
This was during an award ceremony organised by the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) at Holiday Inn Suva yesterday.
