RKS Eels, QVS Knights Score Big Wins In Quarters

Winger Alipate Navukula scored two tries for Ratu Kadavulevu School Eels as they hammered Ratu Navula College Sea Eagles 28-0 in the Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby League Under-17 quarterfinal at Garvey Park, Tavua, today.

He scored in both half as the Seremaia Tuiqamea captained- Eels side has sent a warning to other teams as they book a spot for the semi-final next weekend.

What happened: in the first minute, Eels scored their first try to Navukula and the conversion came from dummy half Tevita Sovalevu for a 6-0 lead. In the 20th minute centre Joseva Vunisa scored Eels second try.

Halftime: Eels 10-0 Sea Eagles.

In the 26th minute Sovalevu added another penalty goal to extend their lead 12-0.

Few minutes later prop Nikolai Seduadua scored a try for a handy 16-0 lead.

In the last 15 minutes Saiasi Maitoga scored another try and Sovalevu’s conversion made it 22-0.

Towards the end of the match, Navukula scored his second try with a successful conversion from first five eighth Jone Lee.
