Dreketi Mosque Destroyed by Fire

While people around the world celebrate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad today, members of the Jame Masjid Dreketi in Macuata will offer request for the restoration of their prayer house.

Their mosque which was built 30 years ago by the Macuata Muslim League Fiji, was destroyed in a morning fire on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Fiji Police Force chief operations officer Assistant Commissioner of Police Livai Driu said Police was working with NFA as they usually determine the cause of fire in any case.
