All the accused will remain at the Juvenile Boys Centre until then.

The Suva Magistrate Court has transferred the case of four juveniles charged with aggravated robbery that allegedly took place in Wailoku earlier this week.

The accused appeared before Magistrate Shageeth Somaratne this afternoon, each facing one count of aggravated robbery.

One of the four juveniles has pending court cases, while the status of the other three is yet to be determined.

Their lawyer from the Legal Aid Commission sought bail, but Police prosecution objected, citing public interest and the need to send a strong message about the consequences of such actions.

The matter will be called again before Magistrate Viniana Diroiroi on Friday morning for the formal bail application of the three accused, while the fourth juvenile will appear next Tuesday.

All the accused will remain at the Juvenile Boys Centre until then.
