Holy Family Secondary School manager, Father Carlos Euikyun Jung, encouraged the newly badged head students to carry out their roles diligently.

“Be proud and embrace the name of the school; the roles given to you are not only a badge but a responsibility that comes with a lot of expectations,” he said.

“You have my blessings and endorsement; go forth and serve.”

In reciprocation, the student council leaders have promised to improve the school’s discipline and academic performance.

The pledge was made last Friday by head boy Waqabaca Tupou, head girl Arunalika Deo, deputy head boy Suliasi Daurewa, and deputy head girl Fane Koi, who were badged at Holy Family Parish Church in Labasa.

Waqabaca, 19, said the responsibility entrusted to them called for their full devotion.
