The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF), with the help of stakeholders, will formulate a plan that will see the upgrade and improvement of water and wastewater infrastructure within the next 20 years.

This was revealed during the Stakeholders Consultation Meeting on Phase 2 – Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) Study of the Municipal Sewerage Master Plan (Nadi regions) held at the Tokatoka Resort in Nadi yesterday.

Authority acting manager Wastewater, Josaia Koroilavesau, said this was part of WAF’s formulation of a Wastewater Treatment Master Plan in Western Division, supported by JICA.
