Denarau hosts 27th Vonu Pro-Am tournament

Around 100 participants are expected to compete in the professional and amateur divisions of the 27th Vonu Pro-Am Golf Tournament from May 29-30 at the Denarau Golf and Racquet Club.
The professional division will compete for a $10,000 prize purse, attracting a strong field and raising the level of competition.
Tournament organiser Amitesh Chandra said reaching the 27th year was a milestone made possible through consistent support.
“Reaching 27 years is something we are very proud of and it would not be possible without partners like Vonu, who have shown real commitment over time,” he said.
“Their support allows us to maintain high standards, invest in the experience and continue to improve each year. We are grateful for that partnership and for the role it plays in bringing together players, sponsors and the wider community.”
He said the tournament was known for combining competitive play with a strong social atmosphere, bringing together business, sport and lifestyle in one event.
