Man allegedly stabbed in Labasa, suspect in police custody
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed officers responded to the report and have taken a suspect into custody.

A suspect is in Police custody following an alleged stabbing incident in Labasa early yesterday morning.
Police said the incident occurred at about 2am along Rara Avenue in Labasa Town. Officers discovered a man in his late 50s lying in a pool of blood at approximately 2.30am.
The victim, who is also a part-time music teacher at a cultural centre, was allegedly stabbed more than three times with a knife.

“The suspect is in custody,” Ms Naisoro said.
The victim was rushed to Labasa Hospital.
