Fijian Under-20 rugby sevens rep Vilivo Eroni is hopeful of making the Fiji Airways Fijian men’s sevens side before securing an overseas contract.

Fijian Under-20 rugby sevens rep Vilivo Eroni is hopeful of making the Fiji Airways Fijian men’s sevens side before securing an overseas contract.
The 20-year-old was the key playmaker for the DXC Dominion Brothers in the 36th Fiji Bitter Nawaka Sevens tournament at Prince Charles Park, Nadi, yesterday.
Eroni plays either at first-five eighth or rover. He was part of the Fijian U20 side that won last month’s McDonald’s Fiji Coral Coast tournament in Sigatoka.
In fifteens rugby Eroni played at second five eight for Namosi in last year’s Skipper Fiji Rugby Championship.
“This sevens competition seemed to be tough week in and week out,” he said.
