Ba crowned IDC champions after beating Navua 2-0

Dayals Steel Ba have been crowned FMF Inter-District Championship (IDC) champions after defeating Vantex Solutions Navua 2-0 at the HFC National Stadium in Suva.
Both teams were locked at 0-0 at halftime, with neither side able to find the back of the net.
Ba broke the deadlock in the 80th minute when striker Nabil Begg capitalised on a rebound from Navua goalkeeper Tevita Ravia to put the Western giants ahead.
Golden Ball winner Etonia Dogalau sealed the victory with a penalty in the 87th minute.
Ba pocketed $25,000 in prize money as tournament champions, while runners-up Navua received $6,000.
The victory secured Ba’s 26th IDC title.
