Tailevu appreciates CJ Patel Group support

The Tailevu Rugby Football Union (TRFU) extends its heartfelt appreciation to the CJ Patel Group for sponsoring the Fiji Rugby Union’s Skipper Cup competition.
Skipper Tuna came into partnership with FRU in 2014 and is now into its 11th year. The sponsorship is on the Skipper Cup Under-20 and senior men’s competition.
“Through this sponsorship, funds received via Fiji Rugby Union have greatly supported the development and training of our players as we prepare to represent Tailevu with honour in this year’s competition,” stated the TRFU.
“We are grateful for CJ Patel’s commitment to the growth of rugby in Fiji and for empowering our players to reach their highest potential.”
Local players who have started their career in the Skipper Cup competition before making their mark internationally includes Simione Kuruvoli, Vinaya Habosi, Kalaveti Ravouvou, Elia Canakaivata, Mesake Vocevoce, Mesake Doge, Tevita Ikanivere, Eroni Mawi, Taniela Rakuro, Samu Tawake, Vuate Karawalevu, Tuidraki Samusamuvodre, Levani Botia, Frank Lomani, Meli Tuni, Henry Seniloli, Mesulame Dolokoto, Peni Matawalu, Leone Nakarawa and the list goes on.
