The Fiji Corrections Service Acting Commissioner, Sevuloni Naucukidi, will take his plea next month.

His plea was deferred after his lawyer, Joji Cakau, informed the court this morning that they had just received the second disclosure from the State prosecution.

Naucukidi appeared before Magistrate Shageeth Somaratne at the Suva Magistrate Court.

He is charged with one count of criminal intimidation for allegedly threatening a member of his support staff in July this year.

The court heard on October 7 that the complainant is no longer employed by the Fiji Corrections Service.

Naucukidi was scheduled to take his plea today; however, it has been postponed to November 11 to allow the defence time to prepare.

His bail has been further extended.
