The allegations against Mr Turaga include nepotism and inefficiency within the ministry.

While no official complaint had been lodged, Prime Minister Rabuka said he was aware of the concerns raised.

“They will be considered,” Mr Rabuka said.

“I have received informal complaints from people, and I am aware of the issues in the ministry because they have been brought to my attention.”

When Mr Turaga was approached yesterday for comments regarding the allegations, he declined.
