Thousands Gather to Witness Historic Tui Levuka Installation

The Taukei Nabukebuke, na Turaga na Tui Levuka, Ratu Etonio Seru Rokotuinaceva, was officially installed on May 21, 2024, among the thousands who turned up to witness the historic event.

The title of Tui Levuka had been vacant for 16 years since the passing of Ratu Etoni's father, Ratu Kolinio Rokotuinaceva, in 2008.

The occasion was steeped in the traditions and customs of the vanua of Levuka, coloue, feasting, young and old, beautiful sunshine, befitting for a chiefly installation.
