Ba Wallops Navua, Secures Spot In Final

RC Manubhai Ba football side has booked a spot in tomorrow’s Courts inter district championship (IDC) super premier final. 

This was after they thrashed Alden Trading/River Tubing Fiji Navua, 4-0, in the first semi-final at the HFC Bank Stadium. 

Ba’s Nabil Begg opened the scores for the men in black in the 9th minute as they lead 1-0 into half time. 

In the second spell, Seaqaqa born and national under 20 rep Mohammed Fataul Raheem slotted their second goal and they extend their lead, 2-0. Raheem scored his second in the 90th minute and his third in the extra time to seal the win,4-0.  

Ba head coach Asif Khan said: “Raheem is our secret weapon, we kept him on the bench and he played in the second half as it’s not always how you start the game but how you finish strong as well. 

“We will recover now and be ready for tomorrow’s final.”
