QVS opts for underdog tag ahead of Fiji finals
Tovata won 16 gold, 14 silver and 15 bronze to claim first place while Rewa came in second with 12 gold, 20 silver and 13 bronze medals.

Queen Victoria School has opted to stay low-key regarding their preparations for the Fiji Finals.
The Tailevu North-based school concluded its two-day interhouse at the national stadium in Suva.
Tovata House were crowned champions after more than a decade.

“We just kept a low profile in terms of preparation, but we’re working very hard,” QVS principal Waliki Nasau said.
“We’re just working on our mistakes and other things that we have to improve on from last year.
He said that yesterday’s main focus was on bringing everyone together again after six weeks, especially the Year 9 students.
Nasau added they hope to improve and also strengthen their co-teams.
He thanked the board of governors, ex-scholars, parents and guardians.
“To all former students of QVS, I invite all of you to come out numbers to support and cheer our athletes who will representing their school for the upcoming Tailevu zone and Fiji finals,” he said.
He said that whatever resources they had, they just utilised them, trusted their system, and managed to finish the race on time yesterday and also today.

In third place was Bau with 12 gold, 10 silver and 11 bronze while Verata settled for fourth place with 11 gold, 7 silver and 12 bronze medals.
