The Vodafone Fijiana XV’s big win against Lofa XV (Tonga) is now water under the bridge as they head towards Saturday’s Oceania Women’s XV decider against Manusina XV (Samoa) at Govind Park in Ba.

Speaking to SUNsports, Fijiana XV head coach Mike Legge said he is stress-ing to the players the need to be consistent and to play right to the final whistle.

“There was disappointment regarding the team’s loss of structure in the final 20 minutes,” the wily coach said.

“On the other hand, I was satisfied with the team’s overall performance, particularly the strong contributions of new players and the effective control showed by young fly-half, Varanisese Qoro.”

Legge highlighted that to beat Manusina XV there is a great need for his players to be more physical.

“Manusina is a physical said and we’ve to be on top of them all the time and at the same time we’ve to maintain our disci-pline and structure.”

He said they have regrouped and are now addressing these issues.
