Three Chinese nationals Dai Ming Hui, Yu Yang Feng, and Zhou Lan charged with unlawful possession of illicit drugs and proceeds-of-crime appeared before the Suva Magistrate Court today.

The trio were found with 39.509 grams of methamphetamine in their possession in October last year.

Lan is also charged with possessing suspected proceeds of crime, including $7180 FJD, $60 USD, $1520 Hong Kong and 1600 Chinese yen.

The case was adjourned to January 7, 2026, after one of the accused claimed assault and another reported a skin rash while in Suva remand cell.

The state has been asked to confirm the claims and update the Court on January 7, 2026.

Ginna Choi, Lagomarcino Baules, Peniasi Delai, and Joshua Ravula, and Qing Qing Yin had their cases adjourned to January 2, 2026.

They were been given time until Friday to file submissions on the state’s application to consolidate the matters.
