The 71-year-old whose body was found near Vatuwaqa bridge by Police earlier this week was identified yesterday by a relative.

The victim has been identified as Govind Raj Prasad, a retiree who had resided in Gaji Street, Samabula.

Mr Prasad was best known to close relatives as a person who had a good heart, friendly and often generous.
