Fiji Police: Assist People Cross Flooded Toga Crossing

Officers from the Police Special Response Unit and officers from the Eastern Division are currently assisting people cross the flooded Toga Crossing.

Earlier in the day village elders and the Turaga ni koro's were advised of the team's presence to help ferry people across the flooded crossing.

However the team is expected to stand down once darkness falls for safety reasons and anyone who wishes to travel must do so before 6pm.

With the river level still rising people are urged to call the Eastern Command Center on 9905 563 if they need assistance
