Twins, Honglin Patrica Fong and Michell Lyka Fong are ambitious to become registered nurses.

The identical duo graduated from their Year 13 cohort at the Sacred Heart College on Wednesday.

They are 19 years old.

Honglin said throughout their five years at the school, they have learnt that through teamwork and trust, nothing is impossible.

“We have to learn that teamwork is what defines us,” she said.

“We both have a dream of becoming a nurse one day and as we graduate from high school, we are thankful to everyone who has become part of our journey.”

Honglin acknowledged everyone who helped them complete their high school journey.

She said that ‘praying’ played an important role in achieving their academic success.

“As we leave the school, we have come to realise that setting goals is important, achieving them is a blessing,” Honglin said.

“Our advice to everyone who may be inspired by our academic journey to never give up and to always put God first in everything.”
