Free cancer check-ups at Waiyevo Hospital

Fiji Cancer Society is organis­ing a health fair today at the Waiyevo Hospital in Taveuni to help close the care gap in un­reachable areas.

In line with the theme for World Cancer Day this year, Fiji Can­cer Society (FCS) program officer Shweta Kapoor said the health fair would provide screening and awareness at the Waiyevo Hospital, Taveuni.

“We will have a similar session in Nadarivatu area commencing March, whereby screening and awareness sessions will be provid­ed to communities in Nadarivatu area,” she said.
