Joshua Biudole will draw from the leadership and life lessons that his late father, Reverend Moce Biudole, taught him.
His father lost his battle to cancer last year.
Joshua was inducted head boy of Dudley Intermediate School during the prefect induction in Suva yesterday.

He vowed to lead by example, uphold integrity and values of the school and serve the student body to the best of his ability.
To do that, the three values to adopt are respect, humility and confidence.
“We need to ensure that we think, act and do everything with humility,” the 14-year-old said.
“We need to respect rules, laws, obligation, respect others, culture and tradition.
“With the help of God I’m confident this year will be a good one.”
His mother, Ane Biudole, recalled the challenging times she went through with her children but thanked God they pulled through.
“My son came back from school on Monday, and told me that was selected to lead the school,” Ms Biudole said.
“I’m grateful to God for his provision over his life and the gift of annointing through leadership.”
