Three suspects held as police search for fourth accomplice in Wailoku robbery

The Southern Division Taskforce has assisted Samabula Police in the arrest of three suspects linked to a violent robbery in Wailoku that circulated widely on social media.
The video shows at least three young males attacking a man, forcing him to the ground before fleeing with stolen items.
Police confirmed that the suspects captured in the footage have now been identified and taken into custody.
“The taskforce assisted Samabula Police in identifying and arresting the three suspects involved,” police said in a media statement.
The arrests come amid intensified festive season operations, with officers directed to respond swiftly to incidents and ensure offenders are promptly apprehended.
Police have also reiterated that a no-drop policing policy remains in force for all minor offences, with particular emphasis on liquor-related incidents, as part of ongoing efforts to maintain public safety during the festive period.
