Woman's body found floating in Wainibuku creek yet to be identified

The body of a woman found floating in a creek in Naidiridiri, Wainibuku, last Saturday has yet to be identified, police confirmed today.

Fiji Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said investigations are ongoing.

The victim is believed to be an iTaukei woman between 30 and 40 years old. Her body was taken to the Mokani Morgue in Nausori, where a post-mortem examination is underway to determine the cause of death.

Police are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 919.
