Fiji Airways 7s Playmaker Settles Down With Wife Lewaseini

After six years of dating Fiji Airways Fijian 7s star playmaker, Waisea Nacuqu, married Mariana Lewaseini at the Saint Columbus Church in Votua Village, Ba.
Speaking to SUNsports, Nacuqu said all things were made possible through their faith in the Lord.
“We went through a lot of challenges, but we kept praying to the Lord to lead us through,” he said.

Nacuqu was born and bred in Votua Village, but hails from Malakati, Yasawa.
His wife, who is a school teacher at Varavi Primary School, is from Votua.
“We got together to start this new family, but I’m looking forward to the Olympics. I will train hard so that I can be part of the team,” he said.
He was also moved by the support of their families and his national 7s team-mates – Alosio Naduva, Pio Tuwai, Kalione Nasoko and Sevuloni Mocenacagi – who were present at the wedding.
“It’s a big thing for me to see my team-mates here since they were able to put aside their busy schedule to come and support us on this important day,” he said.
